Acrylic Paintings

This series began after I moved from New York to Berlin in 2015, a transition marked by a slowing down that collided with my internal pace. The shift in environment disrupted the routines and rhythms I had built, leading me to establish a daily painting practice as a way of recognizing and releasing tension. Using a straight edge and brush, I layer, scrape, and press paint into paper, creating fluid and rigid forms that emerge through an intuitive response to emotion and surroundings. Each painting records a unique internal state, forming a visual diary of a period of transition.
